An optical point logger system for the CAMECA SX50 / SX100 Electron Micro Probes and the IMF6f Ion Probe is available from P and H Developments. This system enables points for analysis to be selected using a high quality optical microscope and stored using a PC before the specimen is inserted into the analytical instrument.

System comprises of:

1. High quality optical microscope* of the customers choice, or can be made to fit most customers existing modern optical microscopes.

2. Digital motorised stage with one micron resolution and joystick control to hold the CAMECA specimen shuttle/holder.

3. High specification Pentium PC with Windows based software to store analysis points and manipulate into point files (Customer can use existing PC).

4. Software to relocate the analysis points in the SX50/100 / ion probe and review/adjust/delete points as necessary.
